My Walk Score Now & Then…

September8

Someone posted a cool post talking about the walk score they grew up with, versus the place they live now. The place I grew up has a walk score of 17, the place I live now has a walk score of 67. I wish it was even more walkable :).

New Touring Bike! Salsa Marrakesh…

March25

I bought a new bike today! A Salsa Marrakesh and it is very fun to ride :). My current bike is a Giant 29er from 2011, so any bike I try feels like a massive upgrade. I bought this one to start training so I can try bike touring… I’ve got a trip planned for July in France and I am going to follow one of the smaller Euro Velo routes. Plus, I want to get in better cardio shape.

Snowy Boulder Colorado :)

April3

A shorty beautiful hike on Saturday after Boulder got a dusting of snow (it was supposed to be a foot). We are both still loving it here, great town!

We Bought A House In Boulder :)

March22

We bought a house yesterday!!!! We were looking to rent for a year, but on a whim we decided to look at a few houses that were for sale in areas we liked in Boulder. We loved the very first one, and we made an offer the next day. The house is a 3 bedroom 2 bath in Boulder, built in 1935 and really solid, and a pretty easy walk to hiking and Pearl street.

It has been a really crazy couple months! I am hoping it settles down a bit by late April / early May. We are hoping to be able to move in after some work is done to the house in late May.

This is bwb’s personal blog so he can share his thoughts with the world, however scary or silly they might be. Plus family and friends can track what I am up too, and where I am in the world.

I am pretty simple. I love Mangos. I love the ocean, although mostly at sunset as I’m a ginger. I love to travel, eat exotic food, read, and use my imagination. I love creating and developing ideas into businesses, understanding how all businesses work, and building cool stuff. I am a globalist and see the entire world as my responsibility and playground. And, I am married to an amazing woman who makes life even more fun :)! And, we are now the proud parents of Calico Jack :).
