Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.

“Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.” – Voltaire

I found this quote recently in a book and I love it. It is something I’ve learned over the last 10 years slowly… But, I am trying to harness it more and more. When I workout I don’t make huge grand plans, I just make a really basic plan to get to the gym, or start the rehab. Some days I will do just the bare minimum, but I am doing something, and slowly but surely over time I start doing a lot more because the habit is there that gets me to the place where I can do it. Still working on this with work :).

Married :)

The wedding and reception were amazing :), it was a really great day and I had such an great time! I was really nervous up until about a week before the wedding and then it was all excitement :).

We kept the wedding really small with just close family who lived in Arkansas, and we kept the reception similar with friends and family who were in town for the holidays. We are hoping to visit all our family and friends who don’t live nearby over the coming years and spend quality time with them, as the reception was the perfect size but we still only got limited time to chat with everyone.

PS. I highly recommend Tim Ryan Smith Photography, he did all of our pictures and is such a pro! He is based out of New York but flies just about anywhere to do weddings, the pictures are amazing!! :)

I got mentioned & quoted in an article in WSJ! Crazy!

Pretty cool, I got mentioned in this Wall Street Journal article about R&D tax credits and politics in general. IMO, stability is a key part of a good government, and the best thing the gov can do to help businesses amidst all the other challenges.

This is bwb’s personal blog, so he can share his thoughts with the world, however scary or silly they might be. Plus family and friends can track what I am up to, and where I am in the world.

I am pretty simple. I love Mangos. I love the ocean (although mostly at sunset, as I’m a ginger). I love to travel, eat exotic food, do long bike rides, read, and use my imagination. At some point, I decided it was better to be a pirate captain than an admiral. I am a globalist and see the entire world as my responsibility and playground. And I am married to an amazing woman who makes life even more fun :)! And we are now the proud parents of Calico Jack :).
